Fall brings races.

We are all in the race of life and I think it is crucial to prepare, practice, and pace. The fall season brings cross country races, Spud days, and that means, the spud run. I am excited to run. I have been preparing for this and have discovered I still need to work out a bunch. I may not be able to get back into the shape I was in during college track and field, but I can try. Just maybe I will get in the shape I was in when I ran the Rexburg half marathon.

Maybe better days are ahead.

It has been a summer of many changes and though it is hard to beleive, Lisa and Natalie are getting bigger and smarter.
I'm sitting here typing while listening to the song Better days by Goo Goo Dolls. I sure hope that there is a chance I will find better days like they mention in their song.
Well it is time to get working hard. In so many ways it is going to be a difficult road. I am confident that I can get to my destination because I know that I will have help. There are so many that are around me that are willing to help me and my family and guide me. God will guide me as I follow Him. What else can I do but go on. So forward I go. Blessings to all.

Gardening

Jenny and I are going to plant a small garden this year. We hope it does better than last years. I don't look forward to pushing the mower up the steep hills but look forward to keeping the yard looking good.

Biking

Lisa was excited to get out her bicycle trailer, but probably not as excited as her Dad is to ride his new mountain bike to pull it.
Jenny will get her new bike soon so we can have family bike trips. Pedal away.

Today is a great Saturday. We all love Saturday. Lisa is glad that Dad is home for the day. Natalie is glad too though she doesn't do so much right now.
